Site of surgery mistakes continue to occur despite the precautions that are presently taken. Using pictorial information helps to more accurately and quickly select the planned site of a procedure. The goal of this novel application is to use this information, along with confirmation from patient and surgeon, to assist healthcare providers involved with procedures. Pictorial information of the planned site can be created in the form of wristbands, chart forms, and other usable modalities.
